Hey!
I'm Tristan
About Me
My name is Tristan Spratt and I'm a 25 year old neuroengineer from Paris, France.
I am fascinated by the brain and consciousness. How does such an ordinary-looking organ paint such beautifully complex pictures of the world? How do our dreams, fears, and senses of self get stored in a box behind our eyes? Why haven't we found anything else in the universe with our level of consciousness? Will my landlord notice the dent I made in the living room wall? What are the coolest sounds to make? All these questions live in my brain rent free, and I am determined to answer them.
I graduated from Tufts University in 2021 with a B.S in Cognitive Brain Sciences and a B.A. in Music, Sound and Culture, and I just completed a Master's in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Neuroengineering at Columbia University. I have worked in research labs at Harvard and Columbia, where I honed my skills in computational neuroscience and machine learning, exploring the intersection of biological and artificial intelligence.
I am currently seeking full-time positions in the fields of neurotechnology and AI to apply what I've learned in the classrooms to important real-life challenges and find out how intelligence emerges from brains and bits.
Oh and I have other normal hobbies too like music, sports, and eating food.
